Not much new to report. We are still in Yuma, but now at a campground as Kade became sick with a headache and fever and I wanted him in aircon that night. He is all better now and we decided to stay here for the last few days of our trip to Yuma instead of going back to the lake. Last night for dinner we had Chinese (they have great Chinese food over here) and we started packing up our stuff. Sadly. We hand the RV back next Friday, so we thought it was time to start. The hard thing is not knowing how much the bags weigh. We are allowed one each of 70 pounds and the second each of 50 pounds. So i guess if you lifted the 70 and the 50 bag together it should weigh a little bit more than me. But trying to do that is hard. We are sending some stuff home in 20 pound boxes, and we managed to have 20 pounds of water we could pick up and try to gauge the box weight, but that's really hard too. I guess we will find out how close we came when we go to the post office tomorrow :)
While we have been here we have seen around a fair few movies, Inception, Salt, Charlie St Cloud, Despicable Me, Ramona and Beezus, Grown Ups, The Sorcerers Apprentice and Cats and Dogs. The movies cost $5 each to go, and we get free popcorn which we love to cover with barbecue popcorn seasoning. The people at the movie theater know us now. We have also bought Kade a laptop, they are a lot cheaper here than back home and it will be no issues for him to carry it in his hand luggage. So he is happy now we both have one. We have been trying to eat all our food down as well, but will end up with stuff like salt and pepper, cooking spray etc that we needed for 5 months but haven't finished.
Tomorrow we will leave for Los Angeles, and Tuesday and Wednesday we will be at Universal Studios. Thursday we will finish packing and cleaning, and Friday we hand the RV back and fly to Seattle for the start of the Trek tour through Alaska.
